# Stake Asset
# Introduction
Staking is the feature allowing to invest your assets to get profit. It is similar to conventional banking where you can deposit or withdraw assets.
Waves.Exchange supports staking WAVES, USDN (Neutrino), NSBT and DeFo assets.
# WAVES Staking
Most users don't have 1000 WAVES to run their own node, but they can help the project by staking WAVES to someone who is able to run a node. Staked WAVES are not transferred to another account, but remain on the sender's balance, however, they are 'frozen' and cannot participate in the buying and selling operations, as well as they cannot be sent to another account. Staking can be cancelled at any time to 'unfreeze' the staked WAVES. The Proof of Stake technology allows to make network stronger and safer and get reward in return. Every staking pool offers its own annual income and payout frequency conditions.
# How to Stake WAVES
Open Waves.Exchange (opens new window) app, login to your account and navigate to the Investments tab. Then click WAVES Staking to go to the staking dashboard page.
WAVES staking dashboard page displays total, available and staked WAVES balance and the list of active and cancelled staking transactions. You can also track daily/weekly/monthly staking income and payout history if you stake your WAVES to a pool from the list of verified pools.
Note: To get WAVES on the Staking dashboard page click Buy on Exchange to open the Trading tab or click Buy with Card to buy WAVES with card as described in Buy Cryptocurrency with a Bank Card article.
For details about trading, see Start Trading on Waves.Exchange.
Click Stake WAVES to open the selection screen.
You can select staking pool from the list of verified pools or select the Enter Manually checkbox and specify the address manually.
Note: Before staking your WAVES, carefully read the terms of the selected pool. Waves team does not regulate the rewarding process. Pay attention to the offered annual income and payout frequency conditions. Waves team does not recommend staking to the largest pools, because this leads to centralization, and, as a result, decreases the network security.
Specify the Amount of WAVES you are willing to stake and click Stake WAVES.
Note: If you have not enough WAVES on your balance to pay the transaction fee or if you have specified the Amount of WAVES that is greater than you have on your balance, click on the card icon to buy more WAVES.
Staking usually starts working in less than 17 hours after clicking Stake WAVES. The transaction will appear on the staking dashboard page. Meaning that you have successfully staked your WAVES.
Note: If you staked WAVES and have not received the offered reward from the staking pool in time, contact the staking pool owner. If the staking pool owner does not reply, go to the pool menu (⋮) and click Complain to open the dialog box where you can report the case to Waves team.
You can review the status of your transactions on the Wallet > Transactions (opens new window) tab. Read more about Transactions tab.
# How to Cancel WAVES Staking
To cancel active WAVES staking, navigate to the Investments tab and click WAVES Staking to go to the staking dashboard page.
In the Active tab find the desired staking pool and click ˅ to expand the list of the active staking transactions. Find the desired transaction and click Cancel.
Note: If you have multiple active staking transactions to one pool you can cancel them all by clicking Cancel All Staking in the pool menu (⋮). Keeper/Ledger accounts do not support Cancel All Staking feature.
Check the selected transaction data and if everything is correct click Cancel.
You can review the status of your transactions on the Wallet > Transactions (opens new window) tab. Read more about Transactions tab.
# USDN Staking
USDN is the unique innovative algorithmic stable coin developed by Neutrino team (opens new window) based on smart contract technology. The coin always has 1 USD exchange rate with very small deviations.
Important: Waves.Exchange allows to increase your income by attracting new USDN users. Read more about USDN referral program.
The profitability of USDN staking is 12-15% yearly (this value is calculated in real-time and may change frequently). You can check current profitability on the Staking Dashboard (opens new window).
How USDN staking works:
- The percentage of profit is not regulated by third party and is higher than any bank currently offers.
- You receive your interest payments in USDN daily.
- You can check the correctness of payments at any time and cancel your staking if something does not suit you. You will not lose interest you have already accrued.
- You do not send your funds under someone's management. The assets are always under your control, all operations are carried out through an independent public smart contract. Transactions are transparent and public while your personal data is safe.
- The smart contract will never ask you for any documents. Your staking balance and payouts are completely anonymous.

You Referral Link is available on the USDN Staking tab. To participate in the program, invite new users by sharing your Referral Link.
Every visitor who follows your referral link to create new account is your potential profit. The invited users will also receive 0.3% (of the USDN amount they purchase with a bank card) reward.

# OTC Service
OTС (Over-the-Counter) service is designed for Waves.Exchange premium users to exchange USDT to USDN (and vice versa). The service allows to exchange the amounts over 10k at 1:1 rate. Read more about OTC Service.
# USDT Staking
USDT (opens new window) staking is the first DeFi interchain product on the Waves blockchain. Staked USDT are accumulated on the Waves blockchain and then proxied to DeFi products of the Ethereum ecosystem.
The staked USDT are managed by public open-source smart contract (opens new window). This makes all the transactions completely transparent, so that anyone can audit the smart contract to make sure it is safe and reliable. The staking interest rates are not regulated by third party and are significantly higher than any bank currently offers.
When you stake USDT, you receive USDLP (opens new window) assets in return. USDLP is the assurance asset that proves that your USDT are staked to the smart contract. The staking interest in USDT is accrued daily and added to the staking pool, this causes the price of USDLP to increase. You can unstake USDT at any time and receive your accrued interest. When you unstake, your USDLP is exchanged to USDT at a new, increased rate. The difference between USDLP rate when you stake and the increased rate when you unstake is your interest. This difference can only be positive because the smart contract ensures that the USDLP price never goes down. USDLP price in USDT is calculated by the formula (opens new window).
Read more about USDT Staking (opens new window).
To access USDT Staking, open Waves.Exchange (opens new window) app, login to your account and navigate to Investements > USDT Staking (opens new window) tab.
The tab displays various information, such as your current USDT and USDLP balance, estimated annual staking interest, your staking transactions etc.

When the timer is up, you will be able to get your USDT by clicking Get USDT.
# NSBT Staking
NSBT is the Neutrino governance asset that confers holders the power to influence decisions concerning the Neutrino protocol, product or feature roadmap, and changes to governance parameters. Read more about NSBT.
NSBT staking allows to invest your assets to make daily profit in USDN and WAVES. The staking is similar to conventional banking where you can deposit or withdraw assets. NSBT staking reward amount is calculated daily and directly depends on the activity of using WAVES ⇌ USDN swap service.
