# Cryptocurrency Transfers

Think of the Waves.Exchange account as a multi-wallet. It, obviously, supports Waves and also any other token existing on the Waves blockchain. At the moment, there are gateways for Bitcoin, Litecoin, ZCash, Bitcoin Cash, Dash, Monero, Bitcoin SV managed by the Coinonmat gateway and Ethereum, Waves Enterprise, Ergo, Bancor managed by the Waves.Exchange gateway.

# How to Receive Assets from Waves.Exchange Users

Receiving cryptocurrency from Waves.Exchange users is very straightforward. Just share your Waves.Exchange address with the person who wants to send you the assets.

You can use either Online Client, or standalone version for Windows, macOS or Linux.

Open your Waves.Exhcange client, log in to your account and at the top right corner click on the account avatar.

In the following screen you will find the Waves.Exchange address of your account. To copy address to clipboard, click Figure 1 icon.

After that use it as the recipient address for the incoming transfers.

# How to Receive Assets from Non-Waves.Exchange Users

You can use either Online Client, or standalone version for Windows, macOS or Linux.

⚠️ When sending or receiving cryptocurrency, please carefully read the transaction conditions displayed in the user interface. The transaction fee may vary depending on the selected cryprocurrency.

Open Waves.Exchange client and at the top left corner click Receive.

In the Asset box select the cryptocurrency that you want to receive.

Before proceeding please read the conditions carefully.

Use the displayed address or Scan QR Code to send a payment.

⚠️ The minimum and maximum amounts of deposit are displayed in the window. Please use the displayed address only for sending the selected cryptocurrency from external non-Waves.Exchange wallets. Sending other than the selected cryptocurrency to this address may result in the total loss of your deposit.

Processing may take up to 60 minutes for the gateway cryptocurrencies.

# How to Send Cryptocurrency

⚠️ When sending or receiving cryptocurrency, please carefully read the transaction conditions displayed in the user interface. The transaction fee may vary depending on the selected cryprocurrency.

Open Waves.Exchange client and at the top left corner click Send.

The following pop-up will appear.

Fill in the sending form:

  • Asset: Select a cryptocyrrency that you want to send.

  • Recipient: Enter the recipient's address.

    Note: To send assets to Waves.Exchange accounts, use the recipient's Waves.Exchange address, as described in How to Receive Assets from Waves.Exchange Users section.

  • Amount: Define the number of selected assets that you want to send.

  • Description: Optional. You can write a message for the recipient in this field.

  • Fee: Specify the tokens that you want to use to pay the transaction fee.

⚠️ If you send cryptocurrency to an external address (not Waves.Exchange address), please note gateway fee (as well as 0.001 Waves transaction fee) and the minimum and maximum amounts of transfer. Before proceeding please read the conditions carefully.

When you have entered all the necessary information, click Continue. Check the entered data and click Send.

# How to Use Sponsored Fee

Waves.Exchange users can also use a sponsored fee to pay for outgoing transfers. Check your Portfolio to see if there is a token with Figure 8 badge. This means that you can change the default Waves fee to another sponsored token.

In order to use sponsored fee, create an outgoing transfer as described above and click on the WAVES under Transaction Fee. Select an available sponsored token and click Continue.
